The “Off-site Technologies for Architecture” (OTA) course was born on the initiative of Manni Group. According to the focus of the company on the youth training and on environmental sustainability, the educational project aims to specialise professionals of architecture in the sector of off-site sustainable construction. The curatorship and educational experience of Yacademy and the expertise of Manni Group lead to an avant-garde and highly specialised educational project.
“I believe our time entrusts us with a concrete responsibility toward the future. The construction sector has a significant impact on global emissions, in a context where the demand for architecture is increasing and affordable housing has become one of the key challenges of our time.
Intervening on the existing built environment, reducing waste and construction time, and enhancing what already exists—these are the levers through which we can generate real impact. It is from this awareness that ‘Off-site Technologies for Architecture’ was born: a project aimed at developing skills capable of integrating quality, sustainability, and an industrial approach.
Off-site technologies and dry construction methods are now essential tools to address these challenges. For this reason, we strongly believe in education, so that designers are able to transform complex responsibilities into concrete solutions. We thank all those who will choose to contribute to this path.”
